My only problem with this is bias. Who's to say the code this person is leaking isn't managements? Seems a bit two-faced to say: "Yes, leaks are allowed, BUT NOT MY LEAKS!"

You make a good point there. Perhaps the submission itself should be visible, but URL's in descriptions and download functionality should be disabled until approved? Rejected leaks could go in some sort of public archive with reason why.

Do you have any thoughts on how to tackle that problem?

I think we pretty much agree then, I'm only suggesting a queue as a way for mods to check for personal information before it gets released to the public.

I think it's a sticky situation - hard to navigate but I'm sure as a community we can come together and figure out something that works for everyone.

Leakers like cracked Photoshop for example are extremely useful to pretty much everyone, but core leaks could really effect someone's project or how they are making their money.

I think an approval system would be the best way forward in this situation, and leaks can be shared based on the moderator's discretion if it's going to be more of an asset to the community or if it's going to harm it more.

Either way, I'm sure we are going to find the perfect solution and move forward with that.

I also feel as if we should have two leak sections if this happens, one for premium users and one for free users.

Should leaks that contain sensitive information like emails and passwords be allowed? No they shouldn't and content like this should be barred rightfully so, you guys did the right thing. To me, the only leaks that should be allowed are the ones that would support and further development emulation as a whole. Content that you purchased and do not have full rights to release should not be leaked as well. With the hindsight of everything that going on, I feel best that leaks should be manually reviewed and users who try and circumvent this processed should be warned for the first infraction and possibly banned for the second.
