Official Should Leaks Be Allowed on WoWEmu?

All I would like to say is that you can allow a leak if its old or out dated or not active anymore.
Ya all are developers and you know the feeling of seeing your works all over internet.
Protect the active developers and servers. Allow leaks BUT check with the developer if he is fine or he is earning money from it still or its just a old version of his work. Do not Allow Active servers source to be shared here.

Clearly if it'll be allowed I'll no longer post anything.

The forum is very divided in this; if you will allow releases i think monitor it and make it something like this:
LEAKS CAN ONLY BE POSTED IF:
Leaks can include: Sources & Databases of old servers that are currently not up and running anymore, or outdated sources of running servers.
Leaks can not include: information such as emails and passwords and sensitive information, current active sources of servers ran by wowemu community members.

This will not step too much on peoples toes, i mean why not leak a source of a server that doesn't use it anymore that's down anyway?
Contribute and support the community by publishing work Just thread with caution if it involves a wowemu members' work thats actually being used currently.

Educational purposes imply "public gain", otherwise who's education is it for? If not the public then what's the point? You keeping it a secret so only your best of friends or, maybe, people who pay you can learn from it? That's worse than keeping it proprietary.

You've leaked a source which is also used in other countries (non international) which means you've leaked source which is still being actively used and actively developed.

You are also aware the developers are still active, which you've chose to ignore.

If you really want to spread leaks, why isn't a part being included, if the developer is active in the community, and doesn't want his work leaked, why should it still be allowed? The only thing you do here is troll, it's evident from the discord your only gain is to piss people off.

Regarding the poll, it seems that the community voted for a YES. Therefore, we are going to bring up a concept about the resource leaking on wowemu real soon, followed with proper guidelines backing it up.
About the Serenity-WoW discussion, we'll be keeping up with the parties to solve the debate what's currently going on and is currently under investigation.
