As part of our continued aims to promote transparency and keep our goals clear with the community, we are releasing our current implementation of our Roadmap for 2023.

General Roadmap

• Username Icons Addon
• Award Marketplace Addon
• Trustscan Addon
• Rock Paper Scissors Addon? (Gambling Credits)
• Add more items to shop
• Reputation Criteria Functionality
• Social Groups (Private Groups, Credits Paid private Groups, Public Groups, Own Forums, buyable Permissions for group in Shop)
• Extend Level System functionality, so it’s also based on posting/Items/credits etc..
• Auth Plugin based on XenForo API
• User Dashboard Overhaul
• WoWEmu Private Server Topsite - Developed/Maintained by @Tommy
• WoWEmu Pastebin - Developed/Maintained by @Tommy
• WoWEmu Review Site - Developed/Maintained by @Tommy
• WoWEmu SQL Generator - Developed/Maintained by @Tommy
• WoWEmu Funserver Repack
• Promote monetization by introducing premium currency and attached systems which will sit as a sister currency to the current credits' system.
• Review current implementation of credits system and amounts given, including taxes and interest.
• (re-develop) WoWEmu bot which was in development. Not happy with current development state, so will need major systemic overhaul of ticket implementation before release.
• Run more community events to promote engagement.
• Site-wide treasure-hunt event.

Goals

• Active Community, find people to participate on WoWEmu
• Own community build tools
• Attract Traders for our Resource Marketplace
• At least 1K registered people in 2023
• Continuous Development based on Community Feedback and Suggestions
• Find new attracting features to implement in the Forums
• Improve development workflow to better streamline new implementations to the forum from dev to live.

I think 1000 registered members will be very easy to achieve, need to advertise here and there on reddit/wowservers, release repacks for every expansion possible & this will get more people to the forums for sure.

I highly suggest collaborating with members i.e on these repack, let players make for example certain repacks made for WoWEmu and have them obtain an award, such as L' createur de repack (Jokename obv) Have for every expansion a repack or two, with different ways / views of playing.

There is an "Exlusive Release" Award, that is especially only for releases that were made for WoWEmu explicitly
