How do I login with the client? Where do I set up a username and password? Ive tried just putting in random info and it does not work. I changed the Realmlist to 127.0.0.1. Do I need a port as well?

Did you make sure that all the configs were correct and database as well?

You set up a username through the world console

They seem okay. I can get it to start and disconnect me. How do you set up the username etc. That seems to be whats missing!

EDIT: using HELP in the world server helped!

Got an account and password created. Then I crash when trying it. I will work in it some more!

I have a problem with mounts. They do not make the char go any faster. Tried a lvl 20 and lvl 40 mount, and I travel at walking speeds. Any ideas on where to look around the configs?

You have to make a folder called 'Data', inside the Data folder you put the vmaps, mmaps, maps, dbc and db2 folders. If you placed these 5 folders in a different location, make sure to adjust the path in your worldserver.config.

Weird. I don't have this problem. Can you try to run worldserver.exe as administrator? I don't know if it has something to do with permission rights.
If it still doesn't work, maybe try to redownload the files.
