What's your preferred programming language?

My personal favorite is C# (mostly in the .NET Core Framework), even though I'm not programming that much lately. Other than C#, I do enjoy TypeScript (using the Angular Framework), plain javascript, and even TSQL from time to time.

TypeScript is kinda nice.

I prefer C++ regarding some core work and Lua is nice, but C# and Python is fun regarding out of Emu scenarios.

Honestly, I'm surprised at how popular C# has been, I thought I'd be one of a few. I was also expecting a lot more JS/Python or even Rust posts!

I'm not surprised Java isn't a 'preferred' language, I could see it being one commonly used in a day job though! And in a way it kinda is, considering C# is basically just Microsoft Java

20 years ago I started with Basic and Assmbler.
Last year i learned html, css, php for schooling and then sql, python and java.
With java I then did the OCA and OCP certifications, however I am not a fan of java and looked at C# and now I am learning C++ for my job.
And I have to say, I like c++ the most.

A little of each but : SQL - LUA - vb - started learning = Javascript & ( NodeJS ) & C++

PHP/JS, mainly because web and webapp is my expertise area and that is what those languages are built for.
Also, laravel & vue is just too god damn good!

I'm incoropating typescript in all serious js project I got, both at work and personal projects.
Can't really enyoy js without it, it's like old php vs c#
