Dragonflight. Or retail in general, after have been grinding WoTLK for 3-4 years and getting BiS on almost all classes I found myself to have milked the content absolute dry. :pepeLaugh:
So yeah, retail for the new content and challenges.

It's just sad Cataclysm content was so bad but the game redesign and so was very good... wish that was a 3.3.6 or something :D
I actually think the opposite, for the most part Cata content was fairly good (prenerf), however the world redesign killed the scale of the open world. It made it so much smaller, and caused the ongoing issue of the time paradox. (Going from cata for starting, back to tbc, up to wrath and back to cata, which if you are following the story as you go, ends up with a pseudo-time-paradox)

To be honest I bought Dragonflight and i got totaly disapointed, I like to play in my wierd way, being able to do solo content and make fast groups for dungeons and shit with out needing to know every single person or be in a huge guild, on dragonfight bg timers are like 20 minutes dungeon finder as a dps meh like wtf xD i ve played private servers with faster queues

I'm a fan of WOTLK - but I also don't mind Dragonflight, has been pretty nice in terms of keystones.

I prefer Cataclysm. However if i had to choose between DF and Wotlk i’d choose wotlk.

Hm just thought if you use wotlk as platform and implent from each patch something that was good, and make it all work as if it was normal. I believe you would create new amazing game.
I really believe this idea is what private servers need. As wotlk is best platform, just implementation of some features, things from other exp that was actually good, would improve that lack which i would say for example wotlk has.
