If somebody has an idea why my client does this:

Please enlighten me. I'm out of ideas.
Used repacks, compiled and build myself, used barebone min clients from old sources, used full clients and the FS client with IP redirect via hosts.
Nothing helps

Hi. Is your client's SET realmlist and SET portal using localhost or 127.0.0.1? If it's localhost, try setting it to 127.0.0.1 instead.

Edit: If you get it to work, please tell me how you did it cause I'm getting the exact same error.

I can't get worldserver.exe to open, and I can't figure it out just from the error, since I *did* execute all queries (took a few days to do it, too.) It... seems like there's a table in auth, "Autobroadcast" with TextFR as a column-- to translate said autobroadcasts into French, I imagine-- but I can't imagine why the worldserver has a problem with it and authserver doesn't.

Edit: Actually, never mind, re-running auth.sql fixed it. If you run into this unknown column issue, open each of the sql files and CTRL-F the name of the unknown column (for me, it was "TextFR") and, once you get a hit, run that sql again.

Did anybody ever help Hrotgard? I'm now getting that same instant disconnect as them. In fact, looking into the log, it's identical to Zasig, too-- I think we're all getting the same error.

idk if it can solve your issue but at least you can try: i solved the instant disconnect error changing SET realmlist "127.0.0.1" with SET realmlist "localhost"

No, sorry. I tried both...

Edit: Actually, testing again, I get a different instant disconnect error than I got with 127.0.0.1. 127.0.0.1 gets me error #105, localhost gets me this:

the error 114 means there's a problem with the auth server/database. you must retry to build it again, it could be caused by the game too. but most likely the auth server/database problem
be sure to use an account made like "[email protected]"
