Hi , i've been trying to play with a friend on this repack but he keeps getting this error.
First i've tried with localhost , then 127.0.0.1, then 127.0.0.1:8085 ( all while being in a connection in hamachi) and it dosent work.

This looks like an amazing repack. Just wanted to clarify something before trying to set this up.
Are the settings vanilla for the server? I mean things like exp rates, gold/item drop, mob dmg etc.

Please enlighten me. I'm out of ideas.
Used repacks, compiled and build myself, used barebone min clients from old sources, used full clients and the FS client with IP redirect via hosts.
Nothing helps

Hey!
Is it normal that it takes me multiple days to execute the world.sql file?
It took so long my computer decided to update and restart in the middle after running for two days.

I've done other data transfers as large as this one but they didn't take so long. I'm using SQLYog instead of Navicat, does that matter?

Edit: It took a REALLY long time but eventually it worked.

Hi and thank you for the quick response.

I do apologise, but won't I need some kind of connection patcher or something related to that?
I just get insta disconnected when trying to login if i attempt to use a 32bit wow.exe from a previous 6.2.3 client that I had around, instead of the provided 64 bit patched wow.exe.
I'm unfortunately not well versed in this.

Hi west china! How did you manage to get it to work? I get the same error as in your video, only I'm using 127.0.0.1 instead of localhost in my config.wtf and it still doesn't work.

Also, I saw your message on playing with a friend via hamachi. Did you manage to get it to work?
If not, here's what I'd do:
First off some people told me to use radmin instead of hamachi because "it's more stable". I don't know if that's true or not, but try that.
Secondly, tell your friend to copy your hamachi/radmin "IP" and use that as the SET portal and SET realmlist instead of 127.0.0.1
127.0.0.1 is your own local IP, but your friend has to connect to your hamachi IP, not his local IP.
To get your hamachi IP tell your friend to right click your name in hamachi/radmin and select "copy ipv4", then paste that into the SET portal and SET realmlist in his config.wtf.
Also, the server you download from NalydBE is configured for local use, so your friend will probably not be able to connect to you. You should compile the core with the global settings, or maybe you could try setting your realm's IP to your hamachi IP, but I don't know if that's going to work.

Oh and one last question, in your video you had an english client, but I can only find french clients. Where did you get your english client from?
