Official New Administrator

Hello everyone,

I am happy to announce that I have joined the ranks of WoWEmu as an Admin. I am pleased to be a part of such a great community, although we are small, we have accomplished a lot during the time we have been around.

I will be working with @splicho to help manage the forums and other projects for the community in the future. I just wanted to make this announcement so everyone knows about the promotion.

Great to see you in a good position, you did good on ye ol' ac-web before it went downwards.

However i do have a concern, i just hope you won't put your personal feelings towards leaks too much into effect here on wowemu.
I know you are against leaking stuff and such, but i genuinely hope that you won't make this a big deal or forbid it completely, as it's the internet. and we're all pirates.

I mean, if i can leak an old source of a non-member on another forum which most of us access anyway, why couldn't we here? It means it's just directing traffic to the other forum, for example i've got some old sources of non-members of big servers which would be good for educational purposes with commit history, which i can't post because of blurred lines.

I know off-topic, but i know what your stand against leaking is Private, so that's why i adress it here.

Most people knows I am highly against leaks, but I can tell you my personal opinion on the matter will not affect my judgement on what we deem best for the forums. Leaks or not, I only want the best for the community.

The reason is simple... Leaked content will lead to law enforcement... that means locker to the community plus the creator will pay a high amount of his income to keep it protected from being locked.... so doesn't matter to have leaked content visible(that's my opinion anyways)
