Hey everyone,
We've been hard at work behind the scenes building the recently announced new platform for EmuDevs. There's a lot in the pipeline that we'll reveal later, but today, we’re excited to introduce one of our upcoming features: EmuDevs Teams!
What are Teams?
EmuDevs Teams let you create and collaborate with others on projects - similar to groups, but with a key difference. With Teams, you can work together, contribute to shared projects, and even unlock perks as you level up.Once you’ve created a Team, you can link it to any project you work on, ensuring that everyone involved gets the recognition they deserve.
What features do Teams include?
- When you create a Team, you can assign a badge and tag that will be visible across the site, helping members stand out.
- We’ve seen the request in our Discord about allowing custom badge uploads. We're currently discussing this internally to see if it’s feasible.
- Teams can level up and unlock perks! More details on this will be shared soon.
- If a project linked to your Team has an issue reported, all members will be notified. Team members can choose how they want to receive alerts - either via Discord (webhook or DM) or directly on-site.
How to Create a Team?
There will be a dedicated Teams page where you can browse existing Teams and create your own. The creation process involves a multi-step form where you’ll enter details like the Team name and description. Once submitted, your request will go through an approval process, and once approved, your Team is ready to go!
