MySQL & C++ Developerbanned
LEVEL 2
90 XP
Hey guys. I'm Daniel, currently 26 from Israel.
I'm a self-taught C++ developer with over 8 years of experience within TrinityCore emulation, a bit of AzerothCore, and a lot of databases.
As a day job, I am a data analyst in a credit card company, specializing in fraud detection & prevention. I handle alerts in real-time and process a lot of information in order to determine if a live transaction is a possible fraud or not. If so, this is where things start getting classified.
I've studied data analysis for over a year and combining that with some of the MySQL handling I've had over through private servers, it was not the most difficult thing to do.
Within TrinityCore, I specialize in custom stuff. Anything I find interesting I find a way to make it come to life. I have some insane imagination and thankfully enough knowledge & skill to execute things. I used to take custom requests (freelancing) but no longer. I much rather update things found online (or possibly even re-create them) and release them.
A few of the systems I've created & am proud of the most are: automatic GM events (Last Man Standing, Boss Waves, Crystal Standing) + Challenge Mode for all the scripts, randomly generated mini-events (kill a random NPC/Player within a certain timeframe, say a combination of words, deal the most amount of damage, kill the most amount of NPCs), item enhancement system (no need for countless items in the database when you can use one item and virtually reallocate its stats into functioning numbers), and several other systems that work as an ecosystem (in particular: VIP, dynamic dungeons & raids, loot on-hit) and a massive anticheat upgrade for basically any server (which is still being worked on).
I love the word 'automation' and 'efficiency' and do my absolute best to write the best-suited algorithms to implement full automation and make it the least resource-heavy task ever. The use of ChatGPT & Copilot is rather new to me, but it surely made my life A LOT easier and it granted me the ability to work a lot quicker, so I might return to freelancing rather soon. But NOT before I finish my personal project: Serverlands.
Just for your information, a few of my active ongoing projects include: worldserver full multithreading support & replication layer that loads & unloads data from a memory-based program dynamically without ever loading or even needing the database.
I've put myself a goal to accomplish where I document myself work on an emulator and implement all sorts of things, from custom creations to live updates, and even regular setups. I do it all through a dedicated machine I rent and go over all the important things you will need to know about a certain topic. I put this on YouTube.
Glad to be here, and glad to take part in this new community which I like quite a lot.
Edit:
Recently I got deep into neural networks, and I'm putting as much effort as I can to accomplish 2 rather large-scale projects. The first one being an automated tickets system, which can be found here (for premiums only). The concept is to fully automate the most general & broad topics out there, to be done entirely by an automated system rather than by a bunch of GMs who are meant to sit & wait for tickets.
The second is a new anticheat system, designed to detect unusual behavior & alert when something has been found based on movement but is meant to expand over time onto more fields, such as PvP & PvE. More info about it can be found here.
