I can take someone's quote and edit it. Should it not be locked in some way so I will not be able to do that?

Can be very manipulative, to say the least. Can't wait to see how destructive it gets with pricing in the marketplace.

Could possibly be a problem, but then again everything will be written by the other user which could be verified. But probably shouldn’t take screenshots as proof only if they include quotes. ?

Yeah screenshotting & public dialog should be a huge highlight in the marketplace

Not possible. A quote text is just BBCode wrapper with a hyperlink. If I'm doubt click the link and read the original quoted text. If there are edits made to the original text, it will let you know that it was edited and should include an edit history also.
