The script ur trying to add into your source is problably outdated can you please post the script ur using and also tell us what emulator ur using(ex trinitycore azerothcore)

ya those scripts are probably outdated here is 3.3.5a scripts
compiling as a beginner is difficult to say the least try these.

1. backup al l your db's as a sql dump ect
2. test them all
3. save the ones that work
4. reinstall the db
5. read the sql for the id number add or spawn
6.install spawn add
most will go into the world db some others auth char ect
read sql first.
7. write down the npc ect id's and spawn with gm helper
gl

add items pocket tele ect to all new chars
playercreateinfoitems
