My fav expansion is 2.4.3 The Burning Crusade because it's the first wow expansion I played when I started.
Also the instances and dungeons are very cool, not too fancy but full of lore.

Wotlk has always been my favorite, but Cataclysm is definitely my second. Never really gave any expansion after cata much of a chance though other than bfa.

Nice, I like TBC too but its not my fav. So far my fav was always WoD even tho it has like near 0 end game content for PvE.
I started WoW at the End of Cataclysm.

I started back in vanilla, but I really started to get into world of warcraft in cataclysm and started endgame raiding in mists of pandaria.

For me, I don't really have a personal favorite expansion, I basically love anything that's above TBC, because from WOTLK, we get much more stuff that can be enjoyable at some point. I was always opened for any new project that was announced, but then got throwed away.
