Dear WowEmu Community,

Today, we have a announcement to make—one that could shape the future of our beloved WowEmu.org community!

Over the months, WowEmu.org has grown into a vibrant hub for World of Warcraft enthusiasts. But, as we evolve, we've been pondering an important question: Should we expand our horizons and extend our support to more games on our forums?

This is where YOU come in! We believe in the power of community-driven decisions, and we want YOUR input to help us make the right choice.

"Expand and Support More Games Poll"

Starting today, we've set up a dedicated poll where you can cast your vote and share your thoughts on whether WowEmu.org should broaden its scope to include other exciting games in addition to World of Warcraft. This decision could open up new horizons for our community, fostering fresh connections and gaming experiences.

Your opinion matters, and we value your input immensely. This decision is a significant one, and we want every member of our community to have a say in shaping the path forward.

The Future Awaits!

Whether you're an avid World of Warcraft player, a passionate supporter of other games, or simply someone who values community and camaraderie, we invite you to take part in this pivotal moment in WowEmu.org's history.

Let's embark on this journey together, and together, we'll shape the future of our beloved gaming community. Thank you for being a part of WowEmu.org, and we can't wait to see where this exciting new chapter leads us!

Stay tuned for updates as the poll progresses, and let's make WowEmu.org even more fantastic together!

Warmest regards,
WowEmu.org Administration

Note: Please be aware that once you've cast your vote, it cannot be altered or reversed. Therefore, kindly make your choice thoughtfully and considerately.

Expanding is always good; i'm happy to see the forums getting more activity slowly.

I used to visit acweb to view new posts for years, happy to now say that wowemu succesfully filled that void.

Speaking about filling voids, Azakaya where you at!

Anyhow, some other game related stuff would be nice, some section dedicated to even coding; basics of sql,c++, lua or whatever looks to be fitting

i switched fonts, because i am him

but yeah, do expand!
Great work boissss, keep pushing

I'm here. :)

This is something I've been advocating for. I'm hopeful everyone shares the same view I do. More topics to discuss, related to Emulation, is a good thing. Not every emulator is the same and we can even learn new ways to address things in WoW's emulation.

I don’t feel that the community has reached the point where it needs to be expanded or that it needs to consider changing some styles. At least for now, the community does not have many valuable posts and articles. Think about how to increase the technical discussions in the community. Pure technology is too not enough.

Simply fact is wow emulation is not the place you want to be as a forum owner if your wanting to keep growing long term.

So if you want to grow 100% expand outside of wow.

If your wanting to keep it based around running game servers.

Rust, Ark, Minecraft, Arma , and more all support self hosting servers and would be good additions if you wanted to grow but stay focused and would fit nicely.

Additionally Proper Coding Sections For Specific Languages & Guides would also likely promote growth.

However the days of forums being the best place to build communities has hit its peak imo while its possible to have a thriving community you are going to be fighting an uphill battle.

My advice is to do whats best to keep the forum alive rather the people on here agree or disagree at the end of the day if you don't grow you end up like the rest.

Least if you expand the wow section lives on and those interested can still join and who knows you might help get new people into it just by expanding into other areas.

Good luck with whatever you all decide to do.
