Hey WoWEmu.org Community,

WoWEmu.org is intended to be a safe platform for everyone who is here. We want to define clear guidelines to protect our users and ourselves.
This post here is an elementary important point for the community.

It is about which hoster you use to share files here on WoWEmu.org. Especially in the Resource Manager.

Allowed file sharing services (besides WoWEmu direct upload)
- Google Drive
- mega.nz
- workupload.com
- Dropbox.com
- mediafire.com
- Github, Gitlab, Bitbucket

Allowed file sharing services for privacy and DMCA ignored hosting
- anonfiles.com
- gofile.io
- firefile.cc

Not allowed file sharing guidelines
1. file sharing websites that artificially reduce download speed and/or have a paywall to extend such artificially throttled speed.
2. file sharing websites in combination with link shorteners (besides bit.ly)
3. link shortening services that distribute massive advertisements and adware/malware. (Examples: adfly, self-hosted link shorteners, linkvertise etc.).
4. the following file sharing websites (but not only these, also similar ones with the same or similar model)
- DepositFiles
- DollarUpload
- ShareCash
- FileFactory
- CostAction
- DailyUploads
- userscloud
- Upload.ac
- Up-4ever
- UploadRAr
- UpFiles
- Uploadly
- CatFile
- UploadIO
- uptobox
- DLUpload
- DropGalaxy
- Rapidgator
- VeryFile
- Mega4up
- UploadHub
- Uploadly
- TurboBIT
- UploadStation
- HotFile
- Uploaded.net
- Crocko.com
- ShareClick
- uploadEE
- File upload
5. websites which promote your files for a consideration.
6. websites where you can advertise your files yourself or have control over the advertisements placed by the website.
7. websites which offer you the possibility to automatically hide your links behind several different PayPerClick link shorteners.
8. websites that use download managers (e.g. you cannot download your file directly, you have to download a program from the website first and then download your files through it (usually with tons of adware).

We ask you to follow these rules. Otherwise we will have to remove your files from the Resource Manager and possibly (depending on the website) also issue a penalty.
Note that this measure is not intended to prevent you from earning money with your content. We only want to protect you and other users from adware, malware or worse.

Best Regards,
Lushen - Supervisor
