Hi all,
I've just put forward a slight change to how credits will be issued with resources, to help promote users providing a rating to a resource that they download.
From now on, any resource that is rated will have the credits granted when it is rated increased from 2, to 3 credits per star (minimum of 3 stars to gain credits). This means for a 5-Star review, you are looking at a whopping 15 credits. Hopefully this will help you feel more rewarded for providing quality resources to WoWEmu! (Don't forget to ask people to leave a rating in your description!)
To incentivise users to leave a rating, a user will now also receive 2 credits each time they leave a rating for a users' resource. There is no modifier on this, and a user will receive the same 2 credits regardless of if they rate a resource as 1 star or 5 stars to keep the ratings honest.
Unfortunately, we will not be able to retroactively assign credits to users who have already rated resources.
As always, we will be keeping an eye on these figures, and they may be subject to change in the future.
