Hey folks,

Looks like we're getting cataclysm classic & a new wow xpac "the war within"

I'm hyped AF considering metzen is back in the saddle this time

The only thing I felt was really missing from DF was the lore (found it really boring), so hopefully this won't be a problem this time

What's your take on this?

Well now here's the thing, I stopped in 2015 - I think 335a was the last version I have played.
Would it be weird to come back for the new expansion? Like I miss a lot, lore wise.

The new XPAC is supposed to be a fresh start to a three-xpac saga, so lore-wise no need to have played the last ones.

I'm very interested in delves, since I'm a casual player myself and often play alone of with 1 or 2 friends. Being able to get end game gear is pretty exciting to me. Also can't wait for dynamic flying. Dragonriding is fun so I'm looking forward to using my Ashes of Al'ar similarly.

Metzen being back is good news, if the storyline is going to be fun remains to be seen. The idea of going back to the old world in the 2nd and 3rd xpac sounds fun though.

Disappointed that we yet again won't be getting new battlegrounds. C'mon Blizz, I want some new maps to play.

Any thoughts on the new logo? I'm conflicted.

With Dragonflight we got a new type of flying which uses physics and abilities to gain speed. You can only do this on the Dragon Isles with special dragon mounts. This is named Dragonriding. This type of flying makes the game far more fun. They even implemented racing tracks. The xpac is far from perfect, especially lore wise. But this feature is executed really well imo.



From my understanding they're gonna bring this type of flying to the regular flying mounts too. Aperently they're calling it dynamic flying now. Hoping to learn more on this in the Deep Dive today.

Oh shit! They're making a new bg and promising to make more going forward
It's possibly going to have a 8v8 variant too.
