With WebWoW's success, Axe, the owner and sole developer of the project decided to create a new CMS from the ground up.
The result was WebWoW CMS v2. Although it was released, it still had work to be done. It isn't very user friendly, which people came to expect because v1 was.
WebWoW was eventually sold to OpenWoW, a private server top100 ranking site. They never really did much with it, other than put it on github.
