We're excited to announce our first emudevs update (October Update) release! Here’s what’s new:
Halloween Theme
Our website has now been styled with a brand-new Halloween theme. It's both spooky and enchanting, perfect for the season.

You can now earn rewards by completing daily tasks. Doing these tasks within a 24-hour period will earn you plenty of bits! Tasks include posting topics, responding to posts, and inviting new members to the community.

Ranking System
Remember the ranking system from WoWEmu V1, where XP was earned through awards? That's a thing of the past! Now, you can accumulate XP on Emudevs by actively contributing in various ways, such as:
- Creating Posts/Replies
- Creating Topics
- Inviting Members
- Receiving Vouches
- Receiving Reputation
- Leveling up within the Ranking System
- Daily Visits on the forum
- Receiving likes on your posts
- Help other members in the support sections (Still Beta)
Deal Dispute
We've enhanced our reporting system for fraud cases. You'll now need to complete a report form with all relevant details. Once submitted, a new topic will be generated, containing the information you provided.
This topic will be accessible for discussion only by staff, the reporter, and the victim. However, it will be viewable by all members and guests for transparency.
Bit Shop
We've revamped the shop, now offering the option to purchase bits with real money for those who choose to support Emudevs this way, although it's entirely optional. Currently, we've enabled the first purchase option as a test and will evaluate its reception.
Note: We're currently in the process of clearing the store and introducing new items, particularly namepaint items, as we believe the forum is already quite colorful. In light of this, we'll provide a 7-day window for users to sell back their items and recoup the bits they've spent on them.
Items that wont make a come back after the wipe:
- Userbanners
- Namepaints
- Majority of Username Icons
- Usertitles
Staff Team and Lineage II
Please welcome @911reg, @AzukaChan, @protojah, @Crescendo to the Emudevs Staff Team! They will be moderating and overseeing the Lineage II section. These individuals will soon launch a promotional campaign to raise awareness about emudevs within the Lineage 2 emulation community.
Resource Archive & Usergroups
We've eliminated the resource archive, which contained outdated links scraped from Ac-Web. Additionally, we've merged the "SPU/PU" usergroups into a single "Contributor" group as part of our rebranding efforts to distance ourselves from the old Ac-Web legacy.
To reach Contributor, you need 300 likes.
We also have two more usergroups:
- Apprentices (Trial Staff)
- Trusted (More info soon)
Reputation & Vouches
As you might have seen in our trailer, we've introduced a new system that not only rewards sellers but also provides valuable information for middlemen, sellers, and buyers to verify the legitimacy of each party involved.
The reputation system has been replaced with a new one. Regrettably, due to limitations in the forum software, we couldn't restore all of the previously given and received reputation points.
Last but not least, we have a redemption code for you as a "welcome" gift.
