Hey,
this is a very short review of the "DekkCore" Paid Source Project from Thordekk. Yes I am not proud but I love to be
up to date with private server development for the latest expansion. So here I am, I bought the DekkCore Repack for
Dragonflight and lets just say. I was surprised.
First of all, I would NEVER advice you to pay for a Repack or buy anything like this. NEVER. Why? Because stuff like this
is not meant to be sold but yeah, people need to earn their bread.
So what is DekkCore exactly? DekkCore is a Dragonflight 10.0.2 Repack/Source based on TrinityCore. DekkCore was first established
with the BfA Expansion but now covering Repacks for nearly all versions (lil spoiler: all Repack versions besides SL and DF are dead af).
I bought the repack a month ago and at this point literally nothing was working, nothing was spawned, nothing was scripted, no DF
content at all. The Repack was just updated to some DF OPCodes. So it was basically a Shadowlands Repack but running on 10.0.2.
Over the last few weeks it improved tho. Yet still its nothing worth to sell yet, nothing works blizzlike, all fixes are only hackfixes and
poorly scripted. But stuff works. The whole Intro scenario to the Dragon Isles works now + the first capitle at the waking shores.
Nearly all Zones are spawned now + all dungeons and the possibility to maybe work out a fun server concept out of this currently
is already huge. (You can make your own Quests, Bosses etc. based on already spawned NPCs etc.) One point im really positively astonished
the classess and talents already work pretty good. No question there are still spells and talents not working at all but most stuff is actually
good and working, you won't come up with a class, which is not at least playable to a minimal state. The new DF Talent System
is also working completely with Imports, Exports etc. One more thing to say, professions currently work not at all, nothing works at
the prof. system. You can't craft anything and can bearly learn anything. Dragonflight Reputations (Renown) is working and you can
already progress through it with questing on the Dragon Isles, however I think most of the rewards are still broken ofc.
One important notice is, the DekkCore Team is currently fixing stuff daily or at least weekly and the latest fixes are strong af. (Not quality
wise but at least quantity and hack-fix/playable like). You can have fun with this Repack already but its ofc nothing which is nearly comparable
with a exp from a Repack in Development for 5 years or Retail WoW itself. (And probably never will, DekkCore is not known for publishing the
most awesome repacks, but one of the earliest.).
So TL;DR: Should you buy this Core/Source/Repack? NO WAY. Don't do it.
CAN you buy it, if you really don't care about the bucks to play around? YES you can.
I will expand this review and structurize it even more (also with some graphics) in the future in comparison to other repacks too.
Best Regards,
Lushen
